Our all-day family Travelcards allows everyone to have fun exploring the stations and attractions along the scenic 10 ½ mile line between Tenterden and Bodiam. All Travelcards allow everyone to hop on and off the train as many times as they please throughout the day.

Bodiam station is close to the National Trust’s Bodiam Castle so why not take the short walk from the station to the castle to explore this picturesque medieval castle ruin. Reduced admission to the Castle when you show a valid Kent & East Sussex Railway train ticket.

Popular events at the railway include, Easter Events, Father’s Day, A Day out with Thomas, Spooky Halloween Events, Fright Night Trains and the popular Santa Specials.

Don’t miss a walk round the fascinating Colonel Stephens Railway Museum which is open from 12.30 till 4.30pm on days when the Railway is operating. The museum is free to enter (when you purchase a train ticket) and tells the extraordinary story of Colonel Stephens, who during his lifetime, built or was associated with 16 light railways.

Visitors can also explore the restored WWI heroes' carriage The Cavell Van and learn about its history.
