Kids Days Out In The Isle Of Wight
The Isle of Wight is small enough that you can do two proper attractions in a day without spending the afternoon in the car, which is the whole appeal. Osborne House at East Cowes is the big one, and the beach below it is part of the ticket.
We list 15 attractions across the island. The Needles is the one everybody knows, Brading Roman Villa is better than it sounds and works in the rain, and Bembridge Windmill is a short, cheap stop rather than a full day.
Book the ferry ahead in the school holidays. Once you are on the island the bus network reaches most of these, so you can leave the car at home if you would rather.
