Kids Days Out In Carmarthenshire

Carmarthenshire is the quieter neighbour of Pembrokeshire and rather good value because of it. There is a proper mix here of outdoors, animals and history.

We list 12 attractions across the county. The Dolaucothi Gold Mines are Roman, underground and hands on, WWT Llanelli is the wetland centre with the hides and the play area, and the National Trust's Dinefwr has the deer park and the walks.

Llanelli and Carmarthen are on the rail line. The gold mines and Dinefwr need a car, and the mine tours book up in the holidays.
