Kids just love steam!
Discover one of the only operational steam narrow-gauge railways within the M25 with a fascinating heritage story to tell. Train lovers of all ages will enjoy a ride on this historic railway featuring 'Darent', the railway's locomotive built in 1903. If you fancy even more steam history, Kempton Steam Museum is right next door (separate entry fee) housing the world's largest 62ft high 1,000 ton steam pumping engine. There's also a lovely picnic and play area where the kids can run around freely and pretend to be a train driver on the 'Kempton Flyer' play train. Trains run every half hour.
