Robin Hood's Wheelgate Park, Newark

Wheelgate Park sits at White Post near Farnsfield, and its main appeal for families is that most of it works whatever the weather. There are more than thirty indoor and outdoor rides, an included water park with slides and splash zones, and several indoor play areas for when it turns wet. The animal side takes in capybaras, alpacas and Highland cattle, and there is a dinosaur themed area alongside.
