Hop along to Grass Hoppers Indoor Outdoor Play at Tong Garden Centre for a proper playtime. Grass Hoppers is a safe and secure play space for families set in the grounds of Tong Garden Centre. You'll find a huge outdoor adventure playground and a large indoor play area where children up to the age of 10 years old can enjoy proper playtime! There's also great grub including pizzas, Paninis and award winning ice cream in Woody's Kitchen!

Indoor Play

Big Play Frame - Our play frame has been specially designed with 7 key learning skills in mind to help your little ones develop and grow through fantastically fun play. Designed to keep kids entertained, our bespoke play frame equipment includes slides, swings, rope bridges and tunnels, challenge decks and a mirror infinity deck.

Baby Toddler Zone - We want our younger visitors to enjoy the best experience ever! This huge space is exclusively for babies and toddlers with lots of exciting features including an agility balance soft climbing frame, activity rings, mini ball juggler and a twin-lane wavy open slide. Don't miss the interactive talking tree and, in the sensory corner, you'll find a state-of–the-art eye spy action panel. We've also included seating in this area for adults to facilitate play.

Role Play Zone - Imagination knows no limits and the three settings in our role play zone will create the perfect place for creative play.

The Sports Court - Perfect for older children, the sport's court is a contained area and includes basketball hoops and an interactive 'Beat the Goalie' game.

Wow Features - Wows etc – piano, eye spy action panel, talking tree and mirror infinity deck, Big interactive piano for everyone to enjoy, rocky steps, mirror infinity deck, racing slide, 4 lane wavy slide and tube slide, tarzan swings, racing aerial glide, spider web ropes, zig zag climbers, webbing tower and much more .....

Outdoor Play

Hopper's Bouncing Pillows - For fabulous fun, bounce about on our two giant outdoor inflatable pillows! One of the pillows is even in an open-sided marquee to protect you from sunshine and showers.

Flash's Zip Wire and Trim Trail - Climb, zoom and play in the great wooden adventure area with zip wire, monkey bars, rope ladders and much more.

Duggy's Giant Sand Pit - No need to head to the beach... dig and build in the giant sand pit!

Blaze's Race Track - Blaze the snail challenges you to racing fun in his coin-operated cars. Choose your car and off you go for a race around the track! Please note that this closes half an hour before closing time. Please note, a ride costs £1 which can be inserted in each car.

Shimmer's Swings and Slides - For some traditional fun on the swings, climbing frames, slides and see-saw, head to Shimmer's play area!

Dotty's Pre-School Play - Playtime for tots in Dotty's is exclusively for pre-schoolers with playhouses and outdoor toys perfect for under 3s.

Peak sessions are in operation during School Holidays and Weekends therefore we recommend booking online to avoid disappointment.
