National Trust Charlecote Park, Wellesbourne

Bring a picnic and spend the days adventuring in over 180 acres of landscaped deer park. Nestled along the banks of the river Avon, the parkland is a haven for wildlife, where you'll spot wild fallow deer and a flock of historic Jacob sheep. Uncover 900 years of history inside the Tudor house with Victorian and outbuildings.

Head to each station in the parkland on the free Summer of Play trail, to make music, dress up, relax and play.

BONUS: Every Tuesday, we'll set up a new and exciting station for you to discover and enjoy on the Croquet Lawn. Each week, the theme will invite you to explore a new variety of activities!

Time: 9am - 5pm, with last admission at 4pm.

Price: Free - there's no charge to take part in these activities. Admission prices still apply. Please note, that there is a small charge of £2 to take part in the additional activities on Craft Wednesdays and Wild Thursdays.

Booking: Not needed. Please note that the house opens 10.30am - 2.30pm each day.

Access: There are uneven, grassy and gravel paths to navigate. Suitable footwear and dressing for the weather on the day is advisable.

Dogs: Are very welcome along this trail but please note that one or two of the activities are inside historic buildings where only assistance dogs are allowed.
