Kids Days Out Windsor

Windsor is one of the easiest family days out near London. Windsor Castle dominates the town and is worth the visit for the State Apartments and the changing of the guard. Legoland Windsor is a short distance away and needs a full day rather than an afternoon. French Brothers run boat trips along the Thames, which is a gentle way to see the castle from below, and the Long Walk through Windsor Great Park is free and flat enough for buggies.
