About Oxford - Oxford, The City of Dreaming Spires, is famous the world over for its University and place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the 9th century an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years. Nowadays, the city is a bustling cosmopolitan town. Still with its ancient University, but home also to a growing hi-tech community.

Shopping - The High Street is a vibrant, slightly curved street that is host to a number of Oxford's finest restaurants, jewelers , fashion outlets, antique dealers, the famous Oxford University shop and of course St Mary’s church. The City Centre offers a large number of nationally recognised shops together with Bars, Café’s, Clubs, the famous Covered market and the main bus terminal.

Things to do and days out - Oxford offers a numerous and varied variety of Colleges associated with Oxford University, rich in stunning architecture and steeped in academic history many are open daily to the public free of charge. Oxfordshire is also home of one of the greatest palaces in the world - Blenheim Palace, a world heritage site, a must for any visitor to the region.
