Kids Days Out In Oban

Oban is the gateway to the isles and one of the more scenic family bases on the west coast. The Scottish Sealife Sanctuary north of the town rescues and rehabilitates seals, and its otters and rays go down well with children. Sealife Adventures runs boat trips out towards the Corryvreckan whirlpool and its wildlife. In town, McCaig's Tower gives a short climb and a wide view over the bay, Atlantic Leisure covers swimming, and ferries to Mull and Kerrera make easy island day trips.
