Kids Days Out In Aberystwyth

Aberystwyth combines a Victorian seafront with a university town and a good spread of things to do. The Cliff Railway climbs Constitution Hill from the northern end of the promenade, and at the top is one of the world's largest camera obscuras, with views over a vast stretch of coast and countryside. The Vale of Rheidol Railway runs steam trains inland to Devil's Bridge. The castle ruins sit on the headland, the National Library of Wales is free to enter, and kicking the bar at the end of the prom is a local tradition.
