Kids Days Out In Cardiff
Cardiff packs a great deal into a walkable centre. Cardiff Castle sits in the middle of the city with Roman walls, a Norman keep and wartime tunnels beneath it. St Fagans, the Museum of Welsh Life, is free and one of the best days out in Wales, a large open air museum of relocated buildings you can walk into. Treetop Adventure Golf and Boulders cover a wet day with indoor golf and climbing, and Dyffryn Gardens gives formal gardens and lawns a short drive west. Cardiff Bay adds waterfront walking and boat trips.
