Kids Days Out In Pembroke

Pembroke is built around its castle, and that castle is the reason to bring children. Pembroke Castle is largely intact, with towers to climb, a vast keep and a cavern beneath it, and it runs events through the summer. Chapel Bay Fort and Museum, across the water at Angle, is a Victorian coastal defence fort with a large collection of military artefacts and views over the Haven. The town sits at the edge of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, so beaches and clifftop walks are a short drive in almost any direction.
