Kids Days Out In Cambridge
Cambridge is an easy city to spend a day in with children, and much of it is walkable or reachable on foot from the centre. Cambridge Science Centre is hands on and pitched squarely at families, and Lockhouse Escape Games suits older children and teenagers. Anglesey Abbey, a National Trust house and garden a few miles north east, has a working watermill and wide grounds for running about. Punting on the Cam is the classic Cambridge outing, and the Backs give you green space right beside the colleges.
