Kids Days Out In Kendal

Kendal is the southern gateway to the Lake District, which makes it a practical base for a family trip as well as a day out in its own right. Lakeland Maze Farm Park, just outside the town, combines a maize maze with farm animals and outdoor play, and works well for a long afternoon with younger children. The town itself is compact and walkable, with riverside paths along the Kent and plenty of places to stop for lunch. Kendal also puts you within easy reach of Windermere and the southern lakes if you want to combine a town morning with time on the water.
