Kids Days Out In Basingstoke

Basingstoke is a practical base for a family day, with a good mix of indoors and out. Milestones is the highlight: a living history museum built as a set of recreated Victorian and 1930s streets that children can walk through, with costumed staff and a working tram. Crabtree Plantation gives woodland walking and space close to town, and the Odeon covers a wet afternoon. Basingstoke Canal and the surrounding Hampshire countryside are both close by if you want to build a longer, slower day around it.
