Howletts Wild Animal Park

The Howletts experience - always to be remembered

Howletts Wild Animal Park offers a wildlife experience like no other. We’re different to other safari parks and zoos as we specialise in the conservation, breeding and reintroduction of rare and endangered species. Animals come first here, we treat them as our guests, and that’s why we’re a world leader in the breeding of rare and endangered species. With big cats such as the Siberian tiger, snow leopard and the Sumatran tiger as well as African elephants, gorillas and the eastern black rhino, we have an experience to excite every animal lover’s taste. You can even get up close and personal with our gorillas, tigers and leopards with our personalised animal encounters.
If you’re looking for a truly hands-on experience, you could become a keeper for a day under the supervision of our specially trained conservationists. Get your hands dirty and become a Junior Ranger (for ages 12 and under) or join the Keeper Academy (for ages 13-17) and find out what it’s really like to work alongside some of the world’s most revered and endangered animals. Now celebrating its 40th year, Howletts offers the chance to see some of the world’s most endangered animals up close, making it a fun and educational day out for all the family.
