Kids Days out Lincoln
Lincoln is built around its hill, and the climb up Steep Hill to the cathedral and castle is part of the day. Lincoln Castle has a full wall walk with views across the city and one of the four surviving Magna Carta copies. Hartsholme Country Park gives lakes, woodland and play areas on the edge of the city, and Yarborough Leisure Centre covers swimming. Bransby Horses, north west of the city, is a large rescue centre that is free to visit and popular with children who like animals.
