Kids Days Out In Skegness

Skegness is Lincolnshire's main seaside resort, with a wide sandy beach, a pier and the traditional amusements along Grand Parade. Natureland Seal Sanctuary on North Parade is the pick for younger children: rescued seal pups with daily feeds, penguins, a tropical butterfly house and a pets corner, all manageable in a couple of hours. Fantasy Island at Ingoldmells is a few minutes north for rides and an indoor market. For something quieter, Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve at the southern end of the beach has dunes, hides and marshland walks.
