Kids Days Out In Weston Super Mare

Weston-super-Mare is a traditional seaside day out with an enormous tidal beach and a pier at the centre of it. The Helicopter Museum is the standout indoor attraction, with the largest helicopter collection in the country and cockpits open on some days. Grove Park sits just behind the seafront with play areas and shade, and the Odeon covers a wet afternoon. Boat trips run out to Steep Holm island in season. The beach is very flat, so check the tide before you set out or the sea can look a long way off.
