Kids Days Out In Bedale

Bedale is a small market town on the eastern edge of the Yorkshire Dales, and Thorp Perrow Arboretum just outside it is the main family attraction. Alongside the tree collection there are woodland trails, a bird of prey centre with flying displays and play areas, which together make a comfortable half day or a full one depending on pace. The town has a wide main street, a few cafes and easy parking, and it sits close enough to the Dales, Ripon and Northallerton to combine with something else.
