Kids Days Out In Leeds
Leeds is a strong city for a family day, and much of the best of it is free. Leeds Art Gallery and Abbey House Museum both cost nothing, and Abbey House recreates Victorian streets that children can walk down. Thwaite Watermill sits on an island in the Aire with working machinery. Lotherton, east of the city, combines a country estate with a bird garden and deer park across a full day. Kirkstall Abbey gives extensive ruins and riverside space, and Roundhay Park is one of the largest city parks in Europe.
